Tlmače and Poltár are heating with biomass

Already in 2014 were built new heating systems for biomass in cities Tlmače and Poltár. Within the project were installed two hot water boilers with power 2 MW (Poltár) and 2,5 MW (Tlmače).

The original (more than 50 years old) technologies, that were heating in these cities with gas (in Tlmače also with coal) were replaced by new technolgies for burning biomass – wood chips. Inhabitants in these cities can now rely on a stable heat supply from the local biomass.
