We are enlarging fleet of biomass logistic centre

The company Intech Slovakia, s.r.o. or better said its division Biofuels belongs to the biggest processors of wood chips in Slovakia (more than 50 000 t per year). Because of building of new central heating plants running on biomasss in middle and eastern Slovakia the company has faced a need to extend its logistic capacities by new vehicles.

Thanks to the SINBIO project have been already procured 4 load trucks with auxiliary equipment, 1 chipper and 2 loaders. The enlarging of the fleet will be completed by supply of forestry cutter and tractor with pressing device, the latter will be procured by the company EPPROS, s.r.o.

The company (EPPROS) together with project partner – local farmer Ms. Lubica Takacova (who procured tractor with sprayer in the project) – and with other local farmers will help to process new kind of biomass – straw in the eastern Slovakia.

During spring 2016 will continue further reconstruction works on the buildings of service and administration centres of company Intech Slovakia in Hriňová. During these months will be also developed and tested customized software for ensuring effectivity of whole biomass logistics chain.
