We have already started in Trebišov!

After tender was successfully closed, there was a contract signed on 10th of July 2015 between the winner among candidates STAVIMEX Slovakia, a.s. and partner No.2 in SINBIO project – Trebišovská energetická, s.r.o., which is ensuring heating in town Trebišov in eastern Slovakia.

In town Trebišov will take place core activities of the project – building of new biomass central heating plant running on wood chips and and straw with total installed output of 8 MW, together with building of its connection to the existing district heating network in the town.

At the moment is Trebišov still depending on natural gas, as fuel base. But this year will be situation fundamentally changed. And not only that. The whole structure of district heating in the town will be adjusted as well and the efficiency of the system will raise significantly. Simply said, thanks to SINBIO project Trebišov is expecting the highest investment poured in the town energy infrastructure in its history.

By building the new boiler house which will utilize biomass from local suppliers, the SINBIO will support  the local economy with approx. 1 100 000 EUR annualy.
