It will primarily focus on the reconstruction of heat source, centralisation of heat generation, replacement of ineffective heat distributions, and instalment of home compact heat exchangers.

The company runs the heating system in the town on the basis of a lease contract. The town controls the fulfilment of the contractual conditions by means of the Supervisory Board of the company with majority representation of the Town of Tlmače.

The principle of cooperation is to ensure all investment actions without burdening the town´s budget. The entire investment is covered by Tlmačská energetická, s. r. o. (ltd.). Customers will observe the increased efficiency of heat distribution and, in particular, the planned expansion of the use of cheaper biomass as fuel through lower heating cost after the commissioning of the new biomass boiler plant. These actions aim to increase stability and guarantees related to the quality of heat supply and hot utility water, and to reducing and stabilising heat prices.
